Recently working with the HEE team, Dr. Anne Blackwood (Chief Operating Officer) said; "...we have been extremely pleased with the medical design work completed so far and their professional attitude throughout. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again."
Health Enterprise East (HEE) did use Product Partners again, to design and develop a Rotator Cuff Brace - see left.
The Rotator Cuff Brace is the first shoulder support of its kind. The brace, through its design, applies anterior pressure to the shoulder which enables the correct position of the humeral head to be maintained within the glenohumeral joint. The brace facilitates a balance between stability and mobility, which results in patients with rotator cuff injury experiencing a dramatically increased range of motion and reduced pain.
The brace is constructed of a two shot plastic moulding (soft and hard polymers) and a textile harness support. The brace advantages include; increased range of shoulder movement, relieves pain without pain killing drugs and provides stability whilst speeding up recovery.
